As of January 10, 2024 this project was awarded to Roberts & Roberts with the awarded amount of $7773,482.01 Construct an Asphalt Concrete pavement based on the type of work specified in the Contract and the Asphalt Work Categories as defined below. The Gulf County Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed bids from any qualified person, company or corporation interested in constructing This project includes approximately 0.59 miles of roadway resurfacing on Madison Street in Gulf County, FL. Completion date for this project will be 90 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented to the successful bidder. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $1,699.00 per day. All bidders shall be FDOT Qualified per Section 2-1 of the FDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, latest edition in the following work classes: Grading, Drainage, Flexible Paving, and Hot Plant Mix-Bituminous Course and have an active sams.gov registration. All bids shall remain firm for a period of sixty days after the opening. All bidders shall comply with all applicable State and local laws concerning licensing registration and regulation of contractors doing business to the State of Florida.
