Furnish a Maintenance Agreement and Parts and Repairs for the Hvac System at the Monmouth County Division of Reclamation Center for the Period January 1, 2024 Through December 31, 2024 With Two (2) One-year Renewal Options. The documents required under heading A of the Bidder’s Checklist must be submitted with the bid. The County shall set a deadline for the submission of any documents which are not submitted with the bid and which are listed under the headings B and C on the Bidder’s Checklist. The County may in its discretion extend the deadline, upon request by the bidder. If a document is not submitted by the deadline or the extended deadline, if any, the bid will be rejected. The County of Monmouth reserves the right to immediately cancel and award a replacement contract if any of the foregoing laws and/or regulations are violated. The County reserves the right, in its discretion, to reject unbalanced bids. If the bid notice to this RFB indicates a bid guarantee is required, a bid guarantee shall accompany the bid in the amount of 10% of the bid but not in excess of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00) and may be supplied at the option of the bidder, by a Certified Check, Cashier’s Check or original Bid Bond from a reputable insurance company authorized to post such bonds in the State of New Jersey. This 10% guaranty is mandatory. If the bid notice to this RFB indicates the Contractor must comply with N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25et seq. (New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act), bidders and their named subcontractor(s), any, must have a valid Public Works Contractor Registration Act Certificate at the time of bid. Submission of the Certificate may be made after the time of bid. However, in accordance with N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq., failure of the bidder to hold a valid Certificate at the time of bid will be cause for automatic rejection of bidder.
