The Town of Cusick is issuing this RFQ to solicit engineers for the purpose of completing renovations and improvements to the Town's existing Rapid Rate Sand Filtration Surface Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and transmission line. Work on the WTP would include adding air scour capability and assessing/addressing the filter media and underdrains. The Town of Cusick reserves the right to authorize subsequent phases of work to the consultant within the scope of this project as described herein. Should the Agency exercise this right, the Agency may choose to supplement the existing contract, or the Agency may choose to close the existing contract and negotiate a new contract, at its option. Last date to submit any RFQ questions (Due by 11:59PM Pacific Time) October 28, 2023 Provide construction oversight for construction beginning no later than March 31, 2024, and submit the final construction completion report to WA Dept. Of Health when the project is completed. All facilities and improvements outlined in the approved project report and construction documents are to be substantially completed on or before September 30, 2024.
