**As of December 21, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. The property owner holds the contract with the company, Gutsue Construction. They don't know the final contract amount. The contract has not signed and will not be until January at some point." Attention is called to the fact that not less than Michigan minimum wage as stated in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project, and that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Bids may be held by the City of Marshall for a period not to exceed 30 days from the date of Bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualification of Bidders prior to awarding of the Contract. A copy of the lead report is provided with the Plans and Specifications for review. A firm fixed-price contract award will be made in writing to the lowest, most advantageous bidder to the Owner. The City of Marshall reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informality in the bidding.
