Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Morristown, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
The Rehabilitate Taxiway K-Construction project will include the removal and reconstruction of a portion of Taxiway K. This project includes earthwork, grading, installation of underground detention system, pavement removal, paving, marking removal, and marking of the affected portions of Taxiway K. A Proposal Guaranty in the form of either a Cashier's check drawn upon a state or national bank or a Proposal Bond with a Surety's Bond Affidavit and in the penal sum of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid amount will be required with each bid proposal. After the bids are publicly opened the Proposal Guaranty of the two (2) apparent lowest responsible bidders will be retained until a final award is made. All other Proposal Guaranties will be retumed to the bidder that proffered it within ten (10) days after the opening of bids, unless otherwise requested by the bidder. Questions or requests for clarification received less than ten (10) business days before the date appointed for submission of bids shall not be responded to. Response to any written question or request for clarification shall be at the sole discretion of the Engineer. Bidders shall not be entitled to rely upon any oral instructions or interpretations by the Engineer. All Addenda sent to Bidders will become a part of the Contract Documents.
