Plans call for renovations to include a new roof replacement, restroom ADA renovations, breakroom layout, interior finishes. Minority/Small Business Participation Goal: MBE: 18% & WBE: 3% D. The Project consists of the Renovation of the property including mainly interior modifications. These modifications include new updated ADA restrooms, breakroom, new LED lighting, mechanical modifications, new flooring, painting, and ceilings throughout, Additionally, the existing roof will be removed and a new 60 Mil TPO roof system will be installed. E. The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials, tools, equipment, insurance, taxes, permits, impact fees, licenses, professional and non-professional services, on-site and off-site storage and security of tools, equipment and materials, etc. as described within the bid documents and as required to complete the scope of work associated with the Violent Crimes Unit Renovation. F. Upon submission of bid, bidders certify that they are skilled in the trade for which they are proposing and will furnish acceptable references for a period of the last five (5) years or more as indicted in the Contract Documents. G. The work required in a manner which makes it impossible to produce first class work, or should discrepancy appear among Contract Documents, request interpretation before proceeding with work. No excuse will thereafter be entertained for failure to carry out work in a satisfactory manner if such a request is not made. Should conflict occur in or between drawings and specifications, the more expensive way of doing work is deemed to have been estimated unless a written decision before submission of the proposal as to which method or materials will be required is requested and obtained. H. Contractor shall coordinate, manage, field verify all conditions and utility requirements for the furniture with the furniture contractor. Contractor shall coordinate with furniture contractor to protect all surrounding finishes including elevator finishes during the furniture install. Contractor to coordinate exterior access and access to rooms that are to receive furniture with the furniture contractor. This Project Is Exempt From the Mandatory Aforesaid Contractor's Licensing Requirements if the Bid Amount Is Under $25,000, but the Phrase "Exempt From Licensing Requirement" Must Appear on the Bid Envelope in Order for the City to Consider the Bid as Being Exempt From This Requirement.
