Conceptual plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; medical facility; medical facility; for the renovation of a 20,000-square-foot medical facility; medical facility; and educational facility.
Kennedy-King College seeks architectural and design expertise to create stateof-the-art nursing laboratories, classrooms and accompanying student learning and experimenting spaces. Since this program will be adjacent to the library, an assessment of the library will be included. The effort will involve the renovation of existing space to include but is not limited to the following: (2) 30-student classrooms 4-6 simulated hospital suites 2-4 observation rooms (adjoining the simulation suites) Mock reception/nursing station 2-3 briefing/conference rooms 5-6 staff offices A $7.5 million approx. for Construction. $10 million total with Equipment, furniture, AV, Etc. Approx. between 15,000 to 20,000 Sq. Ft.
