This project involves the conversion of a 3-storey residential property into a 10-unit affordable housing apartment building, via renovation of the existing 3-storey masonry house and a 3-storey addition to the rear of the property. The scope of work is identified in the bid documents, and includes but is not limited to: structural modifications to the existing, structure for the addition, building envelope and windows, new roofing on existing sloped roof and new flat roof on addition, new steel stair, new partitions, floor and ceiling assemblies, doors (hollow-metal and wood), door hardware, millwork/architectural casework, finishes, new plumbing, HVAC, power, lighting, and fire alarm systems, and domestic water and sanitary service connections.
