Site work and addition to a water / sewer project in Manchester, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the addition of a water / sewer project.
Separate sealed BIDS for the construction of Water Line Addition consisting of the following items: Furnish & install approximately 5,300 L.F. of 12-inch water lines, valves, fittings, and related appurtenances. Hillsville Utility District proposes the installation of approximately 8,000 linear feet of 12 Class 350 ductile iron water transmission main along Highway 41 in Coffee County. During the course of this project, there will be one (1) crossing of a drain to an unnamed tributary to Hunt Creek, and one (1) wet weather conveyance. Also within the scope of this project, three (3) emergent wetlands have been observed/delineated which the transmission main will cross. The proposed crossings are to be made by open cut utilizing appropriate erosion and sediment control best management practices in order to limit potential construction storm water pollution.
