The City of Davenport, Iowa is seeking bids from qualified vendors for the clearing of vegetation along the berms of Black Hawk from Homestead to S Concord, and Walnut Creek from S Fairmount to S Concord and beyond along Daisy Avenue. Questions Due : 10/16/2023 10:00:00 AM (CT) Questions are due to the Purchasing Division no later than the time indicated. Submit your questions via to questions tab. For all bids over $100,000, the City of Davenport requires a Bid Bond of 5% of the bid amount. A copy of the front page of the bid bond must be attached in the "Response Attachments" tab of the bid package. Bids over $100,000, submitted without a bid bond will not be considered. For awarded bids over $100,000, the awarded contractor will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount, and said bond to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the City and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the Contract and the terms and conditions therein contained. Liquidated Damages - Liquidated damages shall be $200.00 per each working day. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and irregularities, if it is deemed in the public interest to do so.
