These bonds shall be in the amounts and form called for in the Contract Documents This project is anticipated to start on approximately December 18, 2023 [date] and is anticipated to have a duration of 60 calendar days for completion. consisting of providing materials and labor for the installation of approximately 41,000 sq. ft. of colored stamped concrete and approximately 11,000 sq. ft. of synthetic grass. This is a prevailing wage project. The following is a description of the scope of work to be completed at Victor Valley High School.: 1. Contractor shall remove existing concrete block from area where stamped concrete and synthetic grass will be installed. 2. Contractor shall smooth and tamper soil to prepare area for stamped concrete and synthetic grass. 3. The contractor shall provide and install approximately 41,000 sq. ft. of beige colored stamped concrete. The concrete shall be a minimum of 4" thick and have #3 rebar on 2' centers. (Contractor is responsible for measuring area to determine exact amount of material needed). 4. The contractor shall provide and install approximately 11,000 sq. ft. of synthetic grass. (Contractor is responsible for measuring area to determine exact amount of materials needed). 5. The contractor shall install 25' letters saying "VVHS". These letters shall be raised 6" from stamped concrete on bottom of letter and 24" from stamped concrete on the top of the letter. 6. Contractor shall supply and plant 14 trees of District's choice with irrigation installed. 7. The contractor shall ensure all work is being completed safely, professionally and timely. 8. Contractor will ensure all federal, state, county, and local laws, regulations, and codes are being followed. 9. Contractor shall clean job site to pre-construction conditions. 10. Contractor shall include a $50,000.00 allowance in the bid. 11. Contractor shall include a copy of the signed scope of work with their bid. 12. Contractor shall be required to provide a performance and payment bond if awarded contract. 13. Contractor shall be required to provide a prequalification packet 10 days prior to bid opening.
