Offerors shall be licensed in accordance with Chapter 444, Hawaii Revised Statutes, relating to the licensing of contractors. All Offerors shall hold a current "C-16" elevator contractor's license from the State of Hawaii. No bid will be accepted from any unlicensed Offeror. A bid submitted by any unlicensed Offeror shall be rejected. A certificate of deposit; credit union share certificate; or cashier's, treasurer's, teller's, or official check drawn by, or a certified check accepted by a bank, a savings institution, or credit union insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or the National Credit Union Administration, and payable at sight or unconditionally assigned to the Director of The Department of Budget and Fiscal Services, City and County of Honolulu. Bid Security Amount. Bid security amount shall be equal to at least five percent of the Offeror's total bid amount. Contract performance and payment bonds shall be required for all Construction projects greater than $50,000.00 and shall be one hundred percent of the contract amount. Deadline to Submit Requests for Clarifications/Questions: October 23, 2023 Questions regarding this solicitation shall be directed to Jacqueline Yoshimoto Last Day to Issue Addenda: October 27, 2023 The City reserves the right to reject any or all offers when in the City's opinion; such rejection will be in the best interest of the City
