Site work, paving, outdoor lighting, new construction and addition to a mixed-use development in East Alton, Illinois. Completed plans call for the addition of a transportation facility; for the construction of a transportation facility; for site work for a transportation facility; for outdoor lighting for a transportation facility; for paving for a transportation facility; and water / sewer project.
Project Description: This project consists of constructing a new apron expansion on the south End of the airport. This project will include grading, construction of new PCC pavement, airfield lighting and drainage improvements. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Work is subject to liquidated damages. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. Prequalification will be required in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
