The project involves the stabilization of a failed portion of river bank along the James River near Grand Rapids, North Dakota, located in the LaMoure County Memorial Park. The stabilization construction efforts include the following: Excavation of failed soil; structural removal of failed existing river bank structure; installation of new soldier pile and wood lagging wall; installation of tie rod assemblies and concrete deadman wall anchorage system; possible installation of sheet pile coffer dam elements; installation of new riprap protection; installation of pea gravel fill behind new soldier pile wall, de-watering of temporary excavation, installation of compacted earth fill Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
