Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Willows, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
**As of December 15, 2023, project was awarded to Viking Construction Company, Inc. with awarded amount is $11,735,320.50.** The work to be done consists, in general, of demolition of the existing concrete bridges and roadway, construction of four new slab bridges supported on driven, precast/prestressed concrete piles, and reconstruction of the approach roadway at four locations on County Road 67. The COUNTY reserves the right to reject any or all bids or select the Bid which is, in its opinion, the lowest responsive bid of a responsible bidder and that which it deems in the best interest of the COUNTY to accept. The COUNTY also reserves the right to waive any information not material to cost or performance in any Proposal or bid.
