Visual inspection, mechanical inspection and Electrical Testing of the lead acid batteries, charger, and uninterruptable power supply system at Allegheny County Emergency Services and Department of Information Technology. Deadline to submit Questions: Nov 6th 2023, 3:00 PM EST Contact Information: Jim Stillwagon, james.stillwagon@alleghenycounty.us All Inspections, Testing and Preventive Maintenance Services shall be performed in accordance with ANSI/NETA MTS Standards unless otherwise stated. All service and testing will be performed by certified personnel at our location on a pre-determined scheduled date. It will be done during normal business hours Monday through Friday 7am to 5pm. All test equipment and tools shall be calibrated and be within the current calibration cycle. Calibration data for the instruments should be maintained in historic files and the instruments labeled for audit and verification. A report shall be furnished within 10 days of the date the maintenance was performed. The report shall include the following as a minimum: As found condition, Scope of Work to be performed, List of Equipment tested, As Left condition and Test results. The winning supplier will be required to complete background checks for all employees that are providing service. Equipment is located at the following address: Allegheny County Emergency Services & Department of Information Technology 150 Hookstown Grade Road Coraopolis, PA 15108 In arriving at the inquiry price, the quoter shall take into consideration all discounts for cash and all other credits and allowances. Amending the inquiry by quoting a discount or other uncalled for allowances may be cause for rejection of the quote. PERIOD OF CONTRACT: February 1, 2024 through January 31, 2026. The Division of Purchasing and Supplies, reserves the right, upon notice to the supplier, to extend the Contract or any part of the Contract for up to three (3) months, upon the same terms and conditions after the indicated expiration date as described in the Contract. This will be utilized to prevent a lapse in Contract coverage for the goods or services indicated on the Contract, and only for the time necessary to enter into a new Contract. When applicable, an extension notice will be issued defining the exact extension of the Contract; all other terms and conditions of the extended Contract will remain in full force and effect. The County retains the right to terminate any contract(s) resulting from this solicitation upon thirty (30) days written notice. The County reserves the right to reject any and all quotes, also the right to waive any minor discrepancies in the quotes when deemed to be in the best interest of the County. The County reserves the right to acquire more, less, or none at all of the quantities stated throughout the life of the contract.
