Saving Project...

Site work and remodeling of a civil project in North Vancouver, British Columbia. Design plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and for the remodel of a road / highway.

LEC's district heating distribution system. Details for the section being contemplated for design are as follows: Approximately 140m long, from LEC's Mini-Plant 7 within the City of North Vancouver's operations yard, just south of West 2nd Street to the southern abutment of Fell Street Overpass directly west of Copping Street, in the City of North Vancouver. A 250mm diameter district energy pipe system will be complete with communication duct(s) required for this section. TIMELINE: Request for proposal to provide design services for the project has closed and a preferred proponent has been chosen. The consultant team will collaborate with LEC staff and key stakeholders in the detailed design of the district heating distribution system and its associated infrastructure. The project team will include infrastructure, civil engineering, structural engineering, geotechnical engineering (if required) and pipe installation specialists to ensure the delivery of safe and adequate infrastructure. Further update in fall 2024.
