Renovation of a mixed-use development in New Braunfels, Texas. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of 5/13/2024 this project was placed on hold. Additional information on the rebid of this is not yet available. District Profile: The district encompasses an area that spans 589 square miles of central Texas, including parts of five central Texas counties: Comal, Bexar, Hays, Kendall, and Guadalupe. Within the district are the communities of Canyon Lake, Sattler, Startzville, Hancock, Fischer, Spring Branch, Smithson Valley, Bulverde, Garden Ridge, and part of the cities of San Antonio and New Braunfels. Major highways crossing the district include Interstate 35, U.S. Highway 281, and Texas Highway 46. Comal ISD has five (5) comprehensive high schools, two (2) highs schools of choice, seven (7) middle schools, and twenty (20) elementary campuses. Demographic growth reports have Comal ISD exceeding 35,000 students in the next five years.
