Housing Services Corporation (HSC), on behalf of Manitoulin-Sudbury District Services Board (Owner), is accepting applications to pre-qualify General Contractors for the execution of a new residential complex in Espanola, Ontario. The Owner is pre-qualifying General Contractors to construct a new build residential facility geared to supportive housing in Espanola, ON. The new facility will be constructed on a green field property. The facility will be a single-storey slab on grade building. The purpose of this Request for Pre-Qualification (RFPQ) is to identify and pre-quality General Contractors to ensure that the Bidders invited to bid the work have the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to deliver quality and value specific to the project requirements. Construction of one single storey, 10-unit wood framed slab on grade structure as well as a common room, office space, and shared laundry facility including mechanical and electrical services. Two units will be designed and constructed to current accessibility standards. The new facility will be constructed on a green field flat lot. The scope will also include the installation of electrical, municipal water and sanitary sewer from the municipal property line to the new facility.
