In general, the project involves concrete repair, concrete apron construction, rip rap installation, erosion control installation at the existing concrete box culvert. SCOPE OF WORK The CONTRACTOR agrees to furnish all the labor, tools, materials and equipment necessary to complete in every detail the repair of the existing box culvert and the installation of the apron and riprap while providing adequate erosion control measures and dewatering. All excavated spoils are to be removed from site. Proper protective equipment is required, as well as coordination with any applicable utility companies. The project is located as shown on the Drawings. Perform work under this contract for Wooddale Box Culvert as the plans show and execute the work as specified in the State of Wisconsin, Department of Transportation, Standard Specifications for Highway and Structure Construction, 2023 Edition as published by the department, and these special provisions. These special provisions and other documents in the Project Manual take precedence over any conflicting provision in Section 100 of the State of Wisconsin, Department of Transportation, Standard Specifications for Highway and Structure Construction, 2023 Edition.
