Scope of work includes the Contractor providing plumbing services to maintain and repair water service pipes that are leaking, curb box and cock, meters, and valves from the water main to the water meter of property owners. These services do not include total replacement of water service due to inaccessibility, i.e. stoops, porches and/or slabs The City of Aurora reserves the right to reject any or all of the bids and to waive any and all irregularities and technicalities whenever such rejection is in the best interest of the City of Aurora. The Bidder awarded the contract will be required to furnish Public Liability Insurance, and Workers Compensation Insurance; all of which shall be acceptable to the City of Aurora. The requirement of a labor and material payment and performance bond will be waived for purpose of this Invitation to Bid Inquiries and/or questions pertaining specifications of this Bid Package shall be directed in writing to Mrs. Jolene Coulter, Director of Purchasing, PurchasingDL@aurora-il.org, by 5:00 pm CST, Friday, October 27, 2023. Questions may not be communicated by the telephone. Questions received after this date will not receive a response
