The intended scope of work (the "Work") includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the construction of a lift station (the "Schertz Lift Station") with a firm capacity of 9.8 million gallons per day ("MGD") and a future expansion capability to approximately 22 MGD; and inclusive of four (4) submersible pumps (3 duty + 1 standby) to CCMA's existing lift station at the site. The Work is inclusive of yard piping, electrical, grading, concrete pavement, site improvements, a bridge crane, and decommissioning of the existing lift station. The Work also includes the installation of approximately 3,700 linear feet of 48-inch diameter fiberglass reinforced pipe (FRP) wastewater line to replace the existing gravity mains. The pipeline will be tunneled to cross two thoroughfares: Farm to Market ("FM") 78, which is a Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Right of Way (ROW), and the Union Pacific Railroad. The gravity line will include the installation of eleven (11) 72-inch diameter concrete manholes, two (2) 48-inch diameter concrete manholes, one (1) 144-inch diameter concrete manhole, and one (1) 84-inch diameter concrete manhole. This Work also includes the installation of approximately 411 linear feet of 8-inch Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) main which crosses a City of Schertz drainage channel, installation of laterals and interceptor tie-ins ranging in size from 8-inch to 24-inch, and in-place abandonment of the existing 42-inch, 27-inch and 15-inch wastewater lines and associated manholes.
