These specifications are for the installation of microwave radio communications for the City of Amarillo water system in various locations in Potter and Carson Counties and Palo Duro Well Fields, Amarillo, Texas 79101. Deadline for Questions October 23, 2023 Deadline for Response to Questions October 26, 2023 The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all responses or parts of responses, to waive any formalities and technicalities, and to accept the bid that can provide the goods or services at the Best Value to the City. Bid security: For all contracts above $50,000.00, bidders must submit cashier s or certified check issued by a bank satisfactory to the Owner or an original bid bond from a surety company that is licensed and active in the State of Texas, to act as surety, payable without recourse to the order of the City of Amarillo, Texas in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bidder's total bid submitted as a guaranty that the bidder will enter into an agreement. For all contracts in excess of $50,000.00, the bidder must furnish a Payment Bond. For all contracts in excess of $100,000.00, the bidder must furnish a Performance Bond. Each bond must be in the amount of one hundred (100%) percent of the total contract price from a surety company.
