Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Morrisville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
As of November 15, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The project will involve the removal of glass block materials on the rear of the MAFC building located at 1301 Morrisville Parkway. Refer to "Submittal Instructions" for bids, Item 8 for proper submittal instructions. Bids are subject to rejection unless submitted on this form. For this project, the Contractor shall obtain and provide, without additional cost to the Town, all labor, materials, equipment, cleaning supplies, transportation, services, and licenses necessary to perform the work. TIME FOR CONSIDERATION: The offer shall be valid for 60 days from the date quotes are due. If bidder cannot validate bid for 60 days, preference may be given to bids allowing 60 days for consideration and acceptance. a. Worker's Compensation - The bidder shall provide and maintain worker's compensation insurance, as required by the laws of North Carolina, covering all of bidder's employees who are engaged in any work under the contract. If any work is sublet, the bidder shall require the subcontractor to provide the same coverage for any of his employees engaged in any work under the contract. b. Commercial General Liability - General Liability Coverage, at $1,000,000 per occurrence (2,000,000 aggregate). c. Automobile - Automobile Liability Insurance, to include liability coverage, covering all owned, hired and non-owned vehicles used in connection with the contract as the $1,000,000 minimum limit. d. Employers' Liability- Employer's Liability Coverage, at $500,000. e. Professional Liability (E & O) - Professional Liability Coverage, at $1,000,000 per occurrence ($2,000.000 aggregate).
