Site work for a water / sewer project in Ames, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Question Cuttoff Date & Time 10/18/2023 11:00:00 PM (ET) The Iowa DOT is seeking competitive bids for an Iowa licensed Plumbing contractor to provide all materials, labor and equipment necessary for the repair of a storm drain east of the IDOT Ames -Red Oak location as per the scope of work document on the Attachment tab. Work to include installation of approximately 200 of 8 PVC storm line pipe and fittings. Existing piping is concrete on south and PVC on the north. Contractor to also supply and install a new fire hydrant on the south side of dig site (see site map on the Attachment tab). Estimated start date: October 30, 2023 Estimated completion date: November 17, 2023 Site visits are recommended. In the event a contractor wishes to set up a site visit please contact Teri Schulz via email at teri.schulz@iowadot.us with a date and time of when you want a site visit. Contractors will be required to bring their own equipment needed for the site visit. This is project is exempt from state sales tax.
