The City of Washington, Missouri in partnership with the Washington Tourism Commission, the Washington Area Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Washington, Inc., and Cohesion Real Estate LLC is requesting qualifications from interested consulting, planning, and market analysis firms to provide a feasibility study for a Hotel and/or Convention Center in Washington. The study should include the feasibility of an additional hotel with the potential of convention space located anywhere in the City limits, while also providing data on the feasibility of a hotel/convention center as a destination in Downtown Washington. Specifically, the study should include an analysis of a proposal the City has received for a development in the downtown district. The current proposal includes the following: o 180 hotel rooms o 35,000 sq. ft of flex convention / conference space o A 600-seat music venue / presentation hall o 340 (min) space parking garage
