As of November 22, 2023, project was awarded to Riverview Paving Inc, awarded amount is $214,570.75. The work to be performed includes the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work as shown on the drawings and described in the specifications. The work to be performed under this contract includes approximately 7,610 square yards of HMA milling, 3" or less (1"depth average); repair and cleaning of various drainage structures and pipes; installation of 1,090 tons of HMA surface course; 602 square yards of pavement repair; 470 square yards of driveway aprons; and other incidental work. Each bid must be made on the prescribed forms furnished with the Contract Drawings and Specifications, including Non-collusion Affidavit, and must be accompanied by a Consent of Surety for one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the Contract and a Certified Check, Cashiers Check or Bid Bond of not less than ten (10%) percent of the amount bid, and not to exceed $20,000.00. Bids may be submitted by mail, but will be considered only if received on or before the date and time specified. The Township will not assume responsibility for bids forwarded through the mail if lost in transit at any time before bid opening. No bids will be received after the time set forth above. Bidders are advised that New Jersey Department of Transportation Local Aid funding will be utilized on this project. Bidders shall comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 and N.J.A.C 17-27 et seq. The Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive immaterial informalities, and/or to accept the bid which, in the opinion of the Township, will be in the best interest of the Township, all in accordance with the New Jersey Public Contract Law N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et. seq.
