Site work and new construction of a parking garage in Montville, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a parking garage; and for site work for a parking garage.

Questions will be answered and posted to the Opportunities page on the OFCC website on a regular basis until one week before the response deadline. The name of the party submitting a question will not be included on the Q&A document. Project Overview A. Project Description The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is planning on replacing an Outpost facility in Geauga County. Architectural/Engineering (A/E) services are required for design, permitting, construction administration and other services as described in this RFQ. This project will utilize General Contracting delivery methods for construction contracts. Scope will include design and construction of a new 4-bay heated truck storage building with a wash bay and a break room for 8 people, a unisex bathroom, and an office area. In addition, the scope of work will include: o Site survey o Geotechnical investigation o Design/construction of parking lot for 6 to 8 employees o Design/construction of a brine pad for two (2) 10,000 gallons tanks. The two (2) tanks to be provided by the contractor. o Design/construction of a fuel pad for a 6,000 gallons diesel tank, and 2,000 gallons unleaded. ODOT D12 will set the tank, dispensers, and install fuel hook-up. o Design/construction of wash-bay o Design and installation of security system as per ODOT security guidelines. The Ohio Department of Transportation will be funding this project with Capital money. All aspects of the project and related issues will be implemented and operated consistent with the Contracting Authority's and the Owner's policies and procedures. B. Scope of Services For projects advertised with an appropriately developed Program of Requirements ("POR"), upon award of the Agreement, commence with Design. For projects without such a POR, upon award of the Agreement, commence by developing the Program of Requirements. The selected A/E, as a portion of its required Scope of Services and prior to submitting its proposals, will discuss and clarify with the Owner and/or the Contracting Authority, the cost breakdown of the Architect/Engineer Agreement detailed cost components to address the Owner's project requirements. Participate in the Encouraging Diversity, Growth& Equity (EDGE) Program as required by statute and the Agreement. As required by the Agreement, and as properly authorized, provide the following categories of services: Program Verification, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Document Preparation, Bid and Award Support, Conformed Documents, Construction Administration, Post-Construction, and Additional Services of all types. Total Project Cost: $3,800,000.00
