Construction of Water Plant No. 2 Rehabilitation Phase 1 for Fallbrook UD, Harris County, Texas The rehabilitation for the existing water plant encompasses a range of activities, including but not limited to: cleansing, power washing, abrasive blasting, and recoating the inner and outer surfaces of a one (1) 400,000-gallon Ground Storage Tank (GST), as well as two (2) 20,000-gallon Hydropneumatic Tanks (HPTs); installation of flexible waterproof mast between GST chime and foundation; sealing the HPT tank bases to concrete pedestals; applying a non-skid coating to the GST's roof, extending handrails; installation of a new internal ladder with a SAF-T climb safety rail to the GST; and installation twelve equally spaced peripheral shell vents for the GST. The rehabilitation also involves solvent cleaning followed by manual or power tool cleaning of aboveground piping and the well motor, abrasive blasting, cleaning, and recoating of booster pumps, associated piping, hatches, valves, and related components. The rehabilitation encompasses the appropriate disposal of the existing concrete board fence and installation of 8-foot wooden fence, with a three-strand barbed wire and rot board. Installation of aboveground and underground water pipes to facilitate the conveyance of surface water from the future meter station, installation of surface water inflow piping to the GST, installation of yard piping for future chemical injection of chlorine, LAS and orthophosphate, installation of yard piping to bring sample from meter run to future analyzer, installation of yard piping for future analyzer drain.
