Renovation of an educational facility in Richmond, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Board of Education of School District No. 38 (Richmond) is inviting proposals to upgrade the existing dust extraction system at R.A. McMath Secondary School, which generally involves: 1. Supply and installation of new dust collector, ductwork, hoods, etc. 2. Compressed air 3. Relocation of sprinkler head and piping 4. Balancing and commissioning 5. Implementation of new DDC components and revised sequences of operation. Demolition and builder's work will include the following: 1. Demolition, painting, remediation, etc. as described in the specifications and on the drawings to accommodate the Work. Includes T-bar ceiling. 2. Non-structural seismic protection 3. Chain-link fencing 4. Structural work as per Structural Documents 1. New openings in concrete and block walls Electrical work will require the following: 1. Electrical power supply to mechanical equipment 2. Removal and replacement of miscellaneous electrical devices 3. Electrical interlock
