Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Canandaigua, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project includes the following Work: Contract #1 - General Construction Generally consists of construction of a new duplex 2 HP sanitary pump station replacing an existing gravity lateral serving a residential apartment complex including a new precast concrete wet well, a pump station control panel, and a new electric service. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the total bid, as a guarantee that the bidder will execute the contract and furnish the necessary bonds if the contract is awarded to him/her. The Supplementary Conditions set forth requirements for the payment by the Contractor and all Subcontractors of minimum wage rates for all classes of laborers and mechanics as set forth by all applicable provisions of the NY Prevailing Wage Act, and the Bid shall be prepared accordingly. No bidder may withdraw his or her bid within sixty (60) days after the actual opening thereof. The City of Canandaigua reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to reject any and all bids and to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder for the total lump sum bid price.
