Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Evans City, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; for paving for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of November 9,2023, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on November 13, 2023. The work generally includes the installation of a new storm sewer system along the entire length of Elizabeth Avenue, as well as the installation of an asphalt wedge curb and new paving along the top section of Elizabeth Avenue. The project also includes the installation of five new outfalls and associated storm sewers that tie into the existing storm sewer systems of Dunbar Avenue, Sarah Alley, Martin Alley, Wahl Avenue, and Stewart Alley, along with an inlet replacement on South Washington Street. Bid security in the form a Certified Check or Bid Bond shall be furnished with the bid in an amount not less than 10%. The estimated cost for this project is greater than Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply. Question Deadline 10/26/2023 at 4:00 PM ET All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted via PennBID in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Telephone inquiries are unacceptable. Evans City Borough reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, to accept any bid or combination of bids that are deemed to be in the best interest of Evans City Borough, and to reject any or all proposals.
