Description of work: The work consists of the replacement of the HVAC systems in the Field Operations building on the KUB Hoskins Campus. This work includes the demolition of the existing HVAC systems as well as the ceiling to allow for the installation of the new systems. New 4-pipe air handling units with Variable Air Volume (VAV) reheat and new controls will be installed. In conjunction with the HVAC system replacement, new lighting to be installed throughout the renovation area. CONTRACTOR will provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals as required to perform the Work. Contractor shall provide any traffic control devices as may be required. The CONTRACTOR shall supply all other incidental items necessary to complete the Work. Each bidder must turn in a security deposit with its Bid. The deposit is five percent (5%) of the Bid amount, subject to the conditions stated in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder shall also be required to execute performance and payment Bonds in such amounts as required by the Bidding Documents, furnished by the bidder and which are used by the bidder, (or the bidder's permitted Subcontractors) in performing the Work.
