Council Chambers for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and service required to complete the Covered Bridge Estates Bridge Repairs in Rainbow City, Alabama The bidder shall file with his bid either a cashiers check drawn on an Alabama bank, payable to the City of Rainbow City or a bid bond executed by a surety company duly authorized and qualified to make such bonds in Alabama in an amount equal to the lesser of five percent (5%) of the bid or ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00). The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for the satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond or Bonds in the amount required by 39-1-1(a), Code of Alabama, 1975, and evidence of insurance as required by the bid documents within ten (10) days after being notified that he has been awarded the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities and to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder.
