Site work for a water / sewer project in Kihei, Hawaii. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work covered under this contract includes the rehabilitation of Clarifier #3 located at the Kihei Wastewater Reclamation Facility, Kihei, Maui. Interested parties may contact the County Project Manager, Mr. Trey Fernandez, at (808) 270- 7423 with questions about the meeting or project. Meeting is optional, but bidders are highly encouraged to attend. The contractor shall remove and replace parts on one (1) 75 ft-diameter dual suction header type clarifier. This section specifies replacement as follows: 1. Drive mechanism complete with a gearmotor reduction unit, micro-switch torque overload devices and shear pin 2. Manifold seals and clamp kit. 3. Two (2) surface skimmer which includes scum blade and hinged skimmer assembly 4. One (1) scum trough with submerged shelf, baffle extension and flushing device 5. Neoprene Fluidizing Blades and associated hardware. 6. All associated hardware.
