Renovation of a municipal facility in Albany, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The contractor will perform, for the benefit of the Albany Pine Bush Preserve Commission Discovery Center located at 195 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, the installation of security cameras, upgrade of current cameras, an operating software system and video storage system. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% Contract term: Work to be completed by February 29th, 2024. Scope of Work Install a security camera system including labor and materials to provide security video coverage of the following areas: 1. Front Door (exterior) 2. Front walkway (exterior) 3. Loading Dock (exterior) 4. Composting toilet building (exterior) 5. Parking lot (exterior) 6. Driveway and Route 155 intersection 7. Gift shop (interior) 8. Exhibit area (interior) Exterior cameras will be capable of recording during nighttime hours without parking lot lights on. At least one exterior camera shall be able to render license plate images. The Commission staff suggest this either be a parking lot camera or camera facing the intersection of the driveway and Route 155, but leave the final proposal of camera and location up to the vendor. Provide a storage and access solution for the video footage collected. This may be cloud based or local storage solutions. Require training by vendor on camera and system as well as post-install support to be included.
