De Soto #73 School District is requesting competitive proposals from contractors for the purpose of constructing the De Soto High School Security Vestibule. Provide material and labor to install the following scope of work: ALUMINUM STOREFRONT FRAMING, DOORS, HARDWARE AND GLAZING TO CONSTRUCT NEW SECURE INTERIOR VESTIBULE PER DISTRICT SPECIFICATIONS. Steel framing and concrete to enlarge the landing area and extend stairs to create a waiting area and access to a new transaction window. Any and all materials, plans, engineering, permits required for the project will be the responsibility of the vendor. Demo of existing office wall as needed to install: -One Ballistic rated transition window To be installed at ADA height with speaker hole cut out with a metal grill and bottom mail slot. -One Security wood door with hollow metal frame and electric strike for controlled entry -Reconfiguration of the main door. Door to be removed and filled and new frames and door to be installed by removal of concrete wall. Any required lintel or other support provided by the vendor. Framing as needed to create a dividing wall at office level to divide hallway and secure vestibule. -Material and labor to include aluminum storefront windows with security glazing (security film 3M Ultra 800). Aluminum storefront with security glazing installed to divide secure entry for existing lobby. -One 6' by 7' pair of aluminum doors with panic hardware, electric strike, and auto operator. All cylinders to match District Standard. Provide structural bracing above ceiling as needed to support new interior vestibule entrance. Quotes should exclude card readers and access control equipment, which will be installed by others. All other specifications and details will be addressed during scheduled site visits by the vendor
