Renovation of a multi-residential development in Norfolk, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 33,420-square-foot, three-story above grade multi-residential development.
The scope of work includes all supervision, labor, material, and equipment necessary to upgrade three existing elevators and addition of three new elevators at Partrea Mid-Rise located at 701 Easy Street Norfolk, VA 23505. The work for this project includes but is not limited to repairs and upgrades to the existing hydraulic elevators in apartment building, new HVAC systems for the elevator machine room, miscellaneous repairs in the hoist-ways, and other additional work as indicated in the contract documents. All questions must be received by 11 AM November 2, 2023. If a contract is for $120,000.00 or more, or if the total value of all construction, removal, repair or improvement undertaken by the bidder within any 12-month period is $750,000.00 or more, the bidder is required under Title 54.1-1100, Code of Virginia, 2050 (as amended) to show evidence of being licensed as a Class A Contractor. If a contract is $10,000.00 or more, but less than $120,000.00, the bidder is required to show evidence of being licensed as a Class B Contractor. The Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding.
