As of November 3, 2023 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Gallon Concrete Reservoir Roof Membrane Installation Wet Interior Piping and Ladder Repaint Exterior Appurtenance Repaint Concrete Repairs Miscellaneous Repairs. The Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to DIXON in writing. Contact information and submittal procedures for such questions are to be made to the Issuing Office. Tank Information: The structure is a 1,000,000-gallon concrete reservoir with an estimated length and width of 108 ft. and an estimated sidewall height of 12 ft. Approximately 3.5 ft. of the sidewall is above grade. The reservoir is located at 65 Newton Ave. in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. The work includes: Exterior Steel Appurtenances (Hatches, Vent, and Overflow Pipe): Abrasive blast clean to a SSPC-SP6 commercial standard with a local/partial containment. Apply a three (3) coat epoxy urethane system. Wet Interior Appurtenances (Piping, Ladders and Hatch Interiors): Abrasive blast clean to a SSPC-SP10 near-white metal standard. Apply a three (3) coat epoxy system.
