Scope of work includes MEP & architectural demolition work, Ceiling systems removal and replacements as required to support new multi-system work. Miscellaneous door, frame, hardware, and louver replacement work, miscellaneous exterior masonry repairs, exterior sealants, painting. Interior floor coatings in mechanical rooms, drywall repairs, ceiling repairs, painting, and flooring at new architectural work. The construction of a new Sally Port at the Campus entrance includes casework, new security fencing, masonry walls, and bulletproof window film. The removal of existing chillers, and replacement of existing chillers with new air-cooled chillers and pumps associated CW piping, pipe insulation, associated valves, gauges, and sensors. Mechanical demolition and replacement work including the removal and replacement of existing AHUs, VFDs, exhaust fans, VAVs, other identified and associated mechanical equipment work, CW piping, pipe insulation, associated valves, gauges, and sensors, ductwork and duct insulation, and balancing dampers campus wide. New mechanical controls system, and the connection of the BAS system to all mechanical equipment, and new monitor stats for mini split systems for MDF and IDF rooms. Electrical demolition and replacement work including new switch gear, electrical equipment, surge protectors, raceways, conductors, grounding, surge suppression, and other identified electrical work required to support the new mechanical & LV system equipment replacements. Lightning Protection System replacement work and re-certification of the system. Removal of existing Fire Alarm system with new addressable Fire Alarm System. New Fire Alarm System to include panels, devices, new raceways, and cabling/wiring interconnections to Mechanical equipment and building egress requirements. Removal of the existing intercom system. Access control system work including card readers and alarms, Intrusion detection including motion devices and cameras with infrastructure to support it along with the replacement of current malfunctioning cameras. LV device positioning and adjustments to meet ADA requirements. MWBE, LBD and VBE trade contractors and suppliers are encouraged to participate.
