As of November 22, 2023, bids received were rejected as they were over the budget. Project will rebid but no definite date yet. The City of Newberry (the "City") is issuing a Request for Bids (RFB) from qualified Contractors for the construction of a 392 square foot garage intended for public display and preservation of the City of Newberry's antique fire apparatus located at 310 SW 250th Street (the "Project"). Architectural and engineering plans and construction documents for the Project have been prepared and completed by Cytacki and Associates, LLC Architects, and have been approved by the City. The project constitutes public construction work to be competitively awarded pursuant to Section 255.20 of the Florida Statutes. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest qualified and responsive bidder as determined by the City.
