Narragansett Ave.: Installation of valves, hydrants and services The Contractor shall complete all work within the time specified. Liquidated damages shall be assessed to the Contractor for failure to complete work within the specified time frame. Geremia & Associates, Inc., 272 West Exchange Street, Suite 201, Providence, RI, 02903, Attn: Mr. James J. Geremia (at jim@geremiaengineering.com). Each bid shall be accompanied by a check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid payable to the order of the City of Newport, Rhode Island. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond in the amount equal to the contract award. The attention of bidders is especially directed to the time for completion of work under this Contract, which shall not exceed one hundred twenty (120) calendar days after the contract start date established in the Notice to Proceed. *The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or to accept any proposals deemed to be for the best interest of the City.
