The City of Bloomington reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities. The work includes tuckpointing and sealing multiple city buildings. All work shall be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications. The City reserves the right to award individual buildings and limit line item quantities at each building in order to meet budget limitations. Questions may only be asked through OpenGov. Bid must be accompanied by a Bid guaranty which shall not be less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Bid. Bid guaranty may be a cashier's check, money order, certified bank check, or a surety bond. All guaranties, except surety bonds, will be deposited and reimbursement checks and surety bonds will be issued to unsuccessful bidders following the bid award. The successful bidder will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount equal to 100% of the contract price, within ten (10) business days after the bid award. The City of Bloomington requires all Bidders/Consultants doing business with the City not to discriminate on the basis of race, age, color, religion, gender, ancestry, national origin, marital status, mental or physical disability unrelated to ability, familial status or sexual orientation. The City of Bloomington reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities and to accept that bid which is to be considered to be in the best interest of the City.
