Emergency On-Call Services for Water and Sewer Utilities Project. bid bond or certified check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, providing that said check or bid bond need not be more than $20,000.00 nor shall not be less than $500.00, and be delivered at the place and on or before the hour named above. Work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work on the Borough's water, sanitary sewer or storm sewer utilities which may include general utility repair to the water distribution system and sanitary sewer collection system, or stormwater collection system, on an On-Call and scheduled basis. The work is located within the Borough of Hightstown and includes: site work and general construction. The Borough intends to create a pool of up to three (3) contractors for A) Emergency Call-Out, B) Critical Call Out and C) Scheduled Work. Due to the urgent nature of the work associated with this contract, bidders with headquarters beyond a 30-mile radius of the Borough of Hightstown will not be considered. On-call services under the contract will be provided for a period of two (2) years from the execution of the contract. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or accept a bid which, in its judgment, best serves the interest of the Borough.
