Notice is hereby given that the Fountain County Arts Council, Inc. of Fountain County, Indiana; hereafter referred to as the OWNER, will receive sealed bids for the following project: Cades Mill Covered Bridge Rehabilitation Project Fountain County, Indiana The Fountain County Arts Council, Inc. has developed plans for the rehabilitation of the Cades Mill Covered bridge, located 3.67 miles west of US 41 and 1.22 miles north of SR 32, southwest of Veedersburg, Indiana. The bridge is adjacent to the bridge carrying W. Cades Hollow Rd. (CR 440S) over Coal Creek. The project will include a rehabilitation of the bridge and improvements to the bridge approaches. The work to be performed and the proposals to be submitted shall include a bid for all general construction, labor, material, tools, equipment, taxes, permits, licenses, insurance, service costs, etc. incidental to and required for this project. The contractor who is awarded the bid will be responsible for ensuring these measures are met. Bidders shall assure that they have obtained complete sets of drawings and Contract Documents and shall assume the risk of any errors or omissions in the bids prepared in reliance on incomplete set of drawings and Contract Documents.
