Reference Number 0000332984 As part of the Oakland County Parks Natural Resources Management program, aerial survey contractors are being sought for the implementation of aerial wildlife and tree surveys and other related services. Oakland County and the select vendor will enter into a contract renewable for a maximum of five (5) years. Question Acceptance Deadline 10/24/2023 02:00 PM EDT Questions are submitted online No Oakland County comprises 910 square miles - Oakland County Parks and Recreation (OCPR) manages approximately 6,757 acres of land over 14 park properties within the headwaters of 5 major rivers (Shiawassee, Huron, Flint, Clinton, and Rouge). Additionally, 3 new park properties will be managed by OCPR within the next 18 months and will potentially require surveys. Survey areas may encompass up to 7,000 acres across the 17 Oakland County Parks, as well as select parcels in Oakland County cities, villages, and townships. Previous surveys have also included select parks and parcels in Genesee County and Washtenaw County for a total of approximately 11,000 - 12,000 acres and 6-8 hours of helicopter flight time.
