While normal working hours is the intent, the contractor should anticipate the possibility of work required off-shift. These off-shift activities hours shall be indicated in the construction schedule by the contractor and approved by the COR. Any unscheduled or unforeseen construction activities requiring off-shift work shall be requested at least two weeks in advance of the off-shift requirement and approved by the COR prior to commencing work. Off-shift work may include, but not be limited to, safety or comfort of building occupants during any construction activity (examples: demolition work or deliveries of large equipment/materials or placing large equipment/material in-place or hauling or cutting/patching or welding or drilling) which is deemed unsafe or excessively loud or any other construction activity (inside or outside) that disrupts on-going building operations deemed inappropriate by the COR and/or the contractor. The contractor shall track all off-shift hours separately and report these to the COR on a weekly basis.
