Site work for a water / sewer project in Cranesville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Albion Borough will receive bids for Gage Road Water Transmission Main Project. Contract involves the construction of approximately 2,900 lineal feet of new 8-inch waterline, fire hydrants, valves, services, and all other appertaining work along Gage Road and Old Albion Road, as well as approximately 450 lineal feet of new 8-inch PVC sanitary sewer, manholes, services, and all other appertaining work along Old Albion Road. Each bid must be accompanied by proposal security in the form of a certified check or a bid bond in the amount equal to not less than ten (10%) percent of the total base bid price in accordance with provisions contained in the Instruction for Bidders section of the specifications. Proposal security shall be made payable to the Albion Borough. Bidders must be on record at the issuing office as an official plan holder. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons or companies who have purchased a full set of contract documents. No bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of 60-days after date of bid opening. This contract is subject to the higher of the Davis Bacon Prevailing Wage Rate determinations. A copy of the prevailing wage rates is included in the Contract Documents. The Albion Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding and to accept the bid serving the best interest of the Albion Borough.
