Renovation of an educational facility in White Plains, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The purpose of the project is to remove existing unit ventilators and replace with new unit ventilators with air conditioning. Upgrades to electric for new unit ventilators. Modifications to existing casework. Each proposal submitted must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, made payable to the White Plains City School District, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, as a commitment by the bidder that, if its bid is accepted, it will enter into a contract to perform the work and will execute such further security as may be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Certification of bonding company is required for this bid, see Instructions for Bidders. A Performance and Payment bond will be required for the work. Each shall be in the amount of 100% of the contract sum. Refer to Article 11 of the General Conditions for requirements associated with such bonds. Each bidder shall agree to hold his/her bid price for forty-five (45) days after the formal bid opening.
