CCTV inspection has revealed defects in 37 mains in the City of Vancouver. The pipes vary in size from 200mm to 900mm in diameter, convey sanitary, storm or combined effluents, and are comprised of reinforced concrete, vitrified clay pipe, or PVC. The pipe defects include (but are not limited to) fractures, breaks, cracks, holes, exposed aggregate, and obstructions. The defects in the sanitary and storm pipes, if left unrepaired may contribute to unwanted inflow and infiltration and increase the risk of a collapse, or sinkhole. Anchor rods and other obstructions in the mains, if not removed, may cause a backup, interrupting storm service to the adjacent properties and lane catch basins. This work will be separated into 2 phases: Phase 1 will include 6 sewer mains for full CIPP relining (from MH to MH) and 14 sewer mains for partial CIPP relining. Phase 2 will include up to 6 sewer mains for full CIPP relining (from MH to MH) and up to 11 sewer mains for partial CIPP relining. Phase 2 will be contingent on the completion of and the work quality of Phase 1. are expected to submit following documents along with their proposals: Latest Resin Product Sheet, Grout Product Sheet, Liner Product Sheet, Testing Results A sample of completed work reports, CCTV inspection and video for both Full CIPP and Partial CIPP works Question Deadline 11/03/2023 at 3:00 PM PT The term of any Agreement is expected to be a one (1) -year period.
